Tech Firefly is partnering with an American multinational financial services Comapny in Austin, TX to hire an Expert SDET with a strong work ethic and interpersonal skills. We are looking to hire immediately!

Duration 6-12+ Months with possibility of conversion

No OPT EAD or C2C

MUST HAVE: JAVA, Mobile Automation, Expresso, CI/CD, TestNG, SeeTest/Appium

Requirements

8+ years in Mobile application development and Software Quality Assurance. 6+ years hands on experience in development, execution and maintenance of mobile application and automated test scripts 3+ years of mobile testing and automation
Experience with mobile automation tools like Appium, SeeTest or Perfecto Mobile. Good exposure to different platforms like IOS, Android & mac OS.
Experience on Atlassian products like BitBucket, Confluence & JIRA Good knowledge of new standard industry tools for logging bugs and managing test cases (ex. JIRA/MTM, Zephyr/HPQ)
Hands on coding experience in Ruby, Java, Swift, or Kotlin Experience with CI /CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Zephyr, Bit Bucket, Shell Scripting/Powershell, Splunk.
Strong programming, debugging/troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with scoping, sizing and overseeing multiple concurrent projects, assessing the appropriate level of risk-based testing, reviewing team deliverables and being the single point of contact for stakeholders
Proven experience as a leader/trainer in a large, complex QA organization, with a demonstrated ability in leading a risk-based approach to software testing Proven experience driving innovative mobile application development and testing solutions within a complex, Enterprise Platform Experience Resolving and tracking issues in HP QC
Experience working with resources in different geographical locations and offshore vendors
Team player with excellent communication skills (oral and written) to partner technically with Application Architects, Development, QA/Testing organizations and Business teams
Experience in developing or influencing the development of automated framework(s) for enterprise level functional and regression testing is preferable
Working knowledge of Agile, Iterative development process and/or Rational Unified Process development methodologies is essential
Passion for building solutions through mobile application, automation, driven by innovation and commitment to lifelong learning
3+ years of experience in SeeTest mobile automation tool
Experience with Jenkins / Bamboo / BitBucket

You'll also work closely with software engineers, UI designers, and product managers to define stories, acceptance scenarios, test plans/cases and advocate for best practices that improve software quality. Ideal candidates will come from a strong business / technical background and have the ability to understand complex business requirements and technical architectures. Our test frameworks are written in Ruby, JavaScript, and PHP. What You'll Do * Work with a product manager to define features, acceptance scenarios, and test cases * Advocate for customer experience through consistency and simplicity * Work with engineers to ensure test cases are reflected in code and automated tests * Identify opportunities to use end-to-end tests to provide greater value and confidence around software * Advocate for practices and tools that promote quality, such as solution design, effective unit testing, static analysis, etc. * Identify relevant quality metrics for the team like error rates and thresholds * Advocate for, implement, and monitor tools that provide alerting on those metrics * Investigate defects and produce minimum viable test cases to reproduce them * Support frequent deployments to production * Help foster a culture of pride and obsession around delivering quality software Who You Are * 3+ years experience in software development and/or writing tests and managing testing frameworks in one of: Ruby, PHP, JavaScript * Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, MIS or related equivalent experience * Experience with one or more of these frameworks: RSpec, PHPUnit, or jUnit. * Experience with Selenium or Selenium Wrapper a plus. * Experience with continuous integration tools like Travis, Circle, Bamboo, Jenkins * Experience testing APIs using Postman, SoapUI, etc. * Adept with both low level unit tests and high-level integration / full stack tests * Passionate about the quality and integrity of software experiences and continuous improvement * Capable of understanding business and technical needs of feature development and can help product managers and engineers make decisions that deliver quality features in an optimized timeframe * Strong communication skills and can help facilitate meetings, discovery sessions, story writing, and documentation Our Hiring Processes Might Include We want to see your problem-solving and analytical skills.
