Expert Software Architect: Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) CTO - Business Application Services OTDA-District Reporting Team Project:

Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large-scale software system.

Expert Skill level: 84+ months:

Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has the extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

• 84 months of experience designing secure applications. Experience should include the use of security APIs, transport and message layer security, encryption and decryption algorithms for data security.

• 24 months of experience as a senior architect on a major project utilizing SOA principles

• 60 months of experience with web services utilizing WS-I standards, including WS-Security.

• 24 months of experience virtualizing web services on Akana platform.

• Certified SOA Professional - please submit copy of SOA professional certificate.

• 48 months of experience with XSLT

• 18 months of experience on mainframe financial and/or eligibility systems.

Requires knowledge of Web Services and various related technologies, and the ability to articulate SOA principles to others as this position will be responsible for guiding SOA web services for the IEAF application. Will support team performing the conversion of IAF forms to HTML.

Activities include performing and/or supporting:

• Convert IAF forms to HTML

• Define logging, auditing, and alerts for monitoring and problem resolution.

• Design and develop schema definitions and transformation using XSLT.

• Support service migrations.

• Manage the conversion of all IAF forms; work plans, status updates, etc.

• Database application code and data analysis using Oracle database technology.
