Location: Remote

The primary purpose of this role is to create and maintain Methodology assets and tools for use on client-facing projects. The scope documents, project plans and other tools created through this role directly impact our financial and operational success as a Services organization.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates effectively and proactively with internal stakeholder to ensure information is received logically, consistently and in context.

  • Support Allscripts Solutions Management or other Allscripts Management by providing project management control on key initiatives, usually pertaining to developing and delivering solutions to market or to internal process improvement.

  • Contributes to the ongoing need to continuous process improvement of the organization.

  • Obtains necessary data required to complete analysis in support of key initiatives.

  • Raises vital questions and problems, formulating them clearly and precisely.

  • Gathers and assesses relevant information, and using abstract ideas to interpret it effectively, comes to well-reasoned conclusions and solutions, testing them against relevant criteria and standards.

  • Thinks open-mindedly within alternative systems of thought, recognizing and assessing, as need be, their assumptions, implications, and practical consequences.

  • Prepares financial and operational information and makes recommendations for improvement.

  • Communicates effectively with others in figuring out solutions to complex problems.

  • Responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of project plans, project scope documents and other project assets.

  • Participation in and/or active management of special projects as assigned.

  • Responsible for reporting out on Services Readiness activities at Corporate Program-level meetings.

Qualifications

Academic and professional qualifications

  • Bachelors in related field

  • Post Graduate Degree in related field desired

  • PMP or other Project Management Certification preferred

Experience

  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience

  • Excellent communication skills and PC skills including the Microsoft Office Suite, such as Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and others

  • Demonstrable project management skills, including influencing, communications and tracking skills, and planning and organization

  • Proven track record of "out of the box" thinking and developing creative solutions to everyday problems
