We are looking to add to our team of infant care takers for the age group of 6 weeks to 12 months of age. The position we are looking to fill is a full time infant support teacher that would join our team of infant teachers helping with care taking, curriculum preparation, daily reports, lunch breaks and would also be relied upon to close in the evening. Our infant ratios are very low at Primrose; two teachers for 8 infants in our youngest infant classrooms.

We are fortunate to be well staffed as we enter the Spring and Summer seasons. Our management team has been with us for years and includes 3 full-time mangers and two on-site owners to support the group. Aside from the free daily meals and experienced management team, another big advantage to working at a Primrose School is that we offer a professional and thorough training for new hires. We believe in preparing new employees and creating a team versus having newly hired teachers begin in the classroom on day one.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Implementing prepared lesson plans.

• Meeting the individual's needs of the children

• Parent communication.

• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.

• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.

• Building teamwork.

• Using assessment tools to guide individual instruction and adapt to children's individual needs.

• Committing to continuing education.

• Teachers are responsible for ensuring compliance with Primrose's industry-leading Quality Assurance standards.

• We offer up to 80 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) per calendar year. This is equivalent to 10 paid days off per calendar year.

• Paid Holidays are offered in addition to Paid Time Off (PTO) - A total of 7 holidays are paid to full-time employees per calendar year.

• In total, our PTO and Paid Holidays package gives employees the opportunity to have up to an extra 17 days off, PAID in full!!
