Experienced Tax Associate - Large Corp

Description & Requirements

How you will contribute:

• Preparing tax returns involving complex issues, and with a concentrated focus on corporate income tax compliance

• Reviewing less complex individual and business tax returns

• Preparing tax projections and other tax planning strategies

• Responding to tax notices

• Researching increasingly complex tax issues using Internet research services

• Developing business by expanding existing relationships with clients, maintaining personal networks, and participating in civic, business, and professional organizations

• Supporting the training of tax associates and assisting managers in the development of staff

• Delegating work to staff according to their experience and capabilities in conformance with the planning documents

• Looking for opportunities to provide additional services to clients

• Using research services to increase technical knowledge and provide valuable services to clients

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage your schedule to meet internal and external deadlines

• Proficient verbal and written English communication skills; ability to communicate effectively

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in tax provision analysis

• 1 year or more of experience

• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam or have a CPA license
