Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama.

Position Responsibilities:

• Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.

• Applies Supply Chain methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain.

• Analyzes complex material requirements.

• Verifies and incorporates Bill of Material (BOM)/Schedules into production plan.

• Ensures on-time delivery.

• Reports schedule adherence issues.

• Develops and controls inventory plans.

• Analyzes and dispositions excess inventory.

• Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices.

• Extracts data from various sources for reporting.

• Creates project transfers.

• Manages Non-Conformance (NCR) dispositions for materials management.

• Guides integrated product design/build teams by independently representing Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans and strategies to arrive at optimal solutions.

• Leads cross-functional teams in the introduction of new tools and techniques.

• Presents analysis of performance measurements to senior managers.

• Investigates complex ordering conditions.

• Develops and implements new ordering methodologies.

• Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies, contractual requirements and governmental regulations.

• Identifies, analyzes, develops and implements best practices, processes and procedures for SCM.

• Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies.

• Leads teams and is responsible for overseeing, documenting, implementing and maintaining the improvements they contribute.

• Works under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

• More than 3 years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment.

• More than 3 years of experience with CompassCONTRACT system.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's degree or higher.

• More than 3 years of experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems common image (MESci).

• More than 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.

• More than 1 year of experience working with spacecraft/aircraft factory manufacturing, quality, and inventory/production control processes and tools (planning, MRP, BOMs, etc.)

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $91,800 - $113,400
