Experienced Senior Analyst

Kearney & Company is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our team! The ideal candidate is an auditor, financial management professional, or financial consultant who can apply technical expertise and skills to support a Federal financial statement audit. Senior Associates responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the development of audit and testing plans

• Performing tests of transactions, preparing schedules, and evaluating audit evidence

• Providing technical knowledge; working individually and on teams to support the completion of specific tasks within time and budget constraints; and interface with the client on a day-to-day basis

• Applying their expertise to the practical issues they identify or those presented by the client

• Helping the Partner/Principal/Director; and/or Senior Manager; and/or Manager formulate solutions; prepare deliverables, and documentation, and support presentations and client meetings

• Directing the work of staff, and reviewing workpapers and reports for accuracy and completeness

Qualifications

• BA/BS/BBA degree

• Minimum of 3.5 years of progressive, relevant

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship)

Preferred:

• Experience in federal/DoD financial statement auditing, audit remediation, or audit readiness

• Experience working with the Federal Government and/or DoD clients

• Passed or holds a CPA
