Responsibilities:
The RN is responsible for assessing the needs of each patient to which assigned
Planning the nursing care needed to meet those needs, including spiritual, emotional and physiological needs. Once planned, the RN is responsible for seeing that the plan of care is carried out through performance and or leadership of supervised personnel and that the plan of care is evaluated
Directly accountable to the Nurse Manager for the quality of patient care delivered
Modifies and delivers care that is specific to the age, growth and development of patients according to the unit scope of services
When serving in the charge role, is responsible for clinical and leadership functions. Responsible for assessing the needs of each patient and planning the nursing care needed to meet those need
What you will need:
A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
ASN required, BSN preferred
Minimum 1 year of RN experience in acute care setting is required
Cath lab, ICU and/or critical care experience required
ACLS certification
Telemetry certified
Moderate sedation certified
Familiar with cardiac medications
Ability to respond to sudden changes in patient condition
Pay Range: $36.50 - $49.95
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
