Pharmacy Technicians in our Intake/Call Room positions spend their day talking with patients, doctors, and vendors on the phone, building patient profiles, processing prescriptions and working among multiple pharmacy software systems. They ensure that patient profiles are properly prepared and meet clinical requirements prior to medication fulfillment. This is an office based, office environment, allowing the Pharmacy Technician to provide an exceptional over the phone patient experience. Clarest Health provides a fast-paced, high energy environment, allowing Pharmacy Technicians to excel in many areas with a focus on phone-based pharmacy work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service experiences each day in a phone-based environment.

  • Utilizing sound drug knowledge to effectively assist patient questions over the phone.

  • Processing prescription information with speed and accuracy.

  • Responsible for billing patient medications accurately.

  • Maintaining patient records with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

  • Serving as a liaison between the clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals on our patients behalf.

  • Performing in a high volume, fast paced environment to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner and meet clinical requirements prior to fulfillment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Comfortable working in a phone-based environment.

  • Exceptional customer service skills, serving patient needs over the phone.

  • Thorough drug knowledge.

  • Ability to utilize technology and work within multiple software programs to fulfill medication orders.

  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.

  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18+ years of age. High school diploma /GED

  • Experience pharmacy setting required

  • Must hold a current registration with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy or be willing to register with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy.

  • Ability to perform in an office-based setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
