Mobile Service Technician Level 3

The technician is responsible for maintaining the fleet for clients and to handle service calls at client locations. Provide service to our customers while maintaining exceptional customer service. This can include: cleaning, maintenance, visual inspection, and removal of parts and attachments. Installation with the help of proper manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning.

  • Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.

  • Handle basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with fuel, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed and documented as assigned.

  • Manage inventory control on the service truck and for keeping the vehicle properly stocked.

  • Report to the Service Manager and will be assigned duties on a daily basis.

  • Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and be available for an open work schedule.

  • Maintain and inventory the supplied tools for the work required in maintaining diesel engine trucks and associated equipment

  • Read job order and observes and listens to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and to plan work procedures.

  • Utilize various diagnostic equipment to determine malfunction and utilize available technical information to determine and perform correct repair procedure.

  • Diagnosis, removal and replacement of injectors, pistons, liners, cam shafts, cylinder heads, rod and main bearings, oil pans, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, changes or recharges batteries, and replaces transmissions and other parts.

  • Perform all necessary diagnostic and documentation functions on the company computer system.

  • Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and makes adjustments.

  • Lubricate moving parts and drives repaired vehicle to verify conformance to specifications.

  • Perform preventative maintenance work as requested.

  • Document and submit necessary paperwork or enter into mobile service program as work performed in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding the work. Foster positive customer relations.

  • Advise customer and/or service writer of any repairs or services which should be performed within the next 3 months.

  • Participate in training and utilize that training in the course of work.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.

  • Have a current and valid CDL and Medical card as required by the FMVS.

  • Mechanical aptitude and technical ability is a must.

They are accountable for identifying and quantifying key drivers of Florida Blue Medicare medical costs across all provider types, evaluating effectiveness, and making recommendations. The Senior Health Business Analyst is relied upon to apply business knowledge to Analytics projects and provide value-added insights to directly impact business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, experience working with large data sets, ability to draw inferences, an understanding of various provider reimbursement methodologies, and a natural curiosity to understand health insurance informatics. Essential Functions * The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned. * Manipulate data using large datasets and multiple data sources * Act as primary Analyst for assigned projects and proactively identify topics for analysis * Analyze or assist in the analysis of processes and programs in achieving stated goals. Provide analyses and recommendations if corrections are needed. Investigates and discovers areas of opportunity * Monitor and evaluate patterns, costs and trends * Develop well documented Excel-based models and spreadsheets containing advanced functions that are used to evaluate historical trends, forecast future expectations, and draw conclusions to answer key business questions. * Write SQL programs for data extraction. Modifies existing programs for data extraction * Accountable for developing insightful and actionable summaries and recommending actions * May assist in training other team members on basic technical skills * Analyze claims data to determine change in mix of providers, services, treatment severity, condition prevalence, location of service, products, etc. to determine cost drivers and financial impacts. Outputs are also used for assessing risk and developing strategic considerations. * Analyze claims, and other healthcare data to identify areas of opportunity and provide analyses, conclusions and recommendations to business stakeholders. * Ability to work in team environment emphasizing collaboration and the development of synergies Required Work Experience 4 years of related work experience. Required Management Experience No supervisory/management experience required Required Education Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Additional Required Qualifications * Experience with analytics and inferential statistics. * Intermediate level experience writing SQL or related code * Advanced Excel skills (ability to create and use pivot tables and formulas) * Proficient with Microsoft Office products * Ability to manage tasks independently, take ownership of responsibilities and meet deadlines * Strong written and oral communication skills * High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy Preferred Education * Bachelor's degree Business Analytics, Health Economics or similar program * Master's degree in a related field General Physical Demands Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
