We are seeking an experienced line cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a strong work ethic. As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food quickly and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

• Clean and maintain station practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills

• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures

• Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and served in a timely manner

• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are completed accurately and efficiently

• Service the restaurant and event center

Requirements

• Proven food service experience required

• Sauté experience preferred

• Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety regulations

• "Customer comes first" attitude essential

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Must work well in a team environment

• Excellent communication skills

• Capability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

• Banquet experience helpful

• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday including evenings and holidays. NO LATE NIGHTS!

• Typical schedule: 1-9pm, Tuesday - Saturday.

Salary Description

$20 - $23 per hour
