  • Job Duties
  • Stock and prepare food for service according to the Chef's specifications.
    Cook everything except pizzas.
    Report to the Kitchen Manager for daily guidance.
  • Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Clean up the station and properly take care of leftover food.
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach to coworkers and customers.

  • Qualifications
  • Ideally seeking someone with full-time availability, able to work nights, weekends, and has open availability.
    Will hire two part-time cooks if necessary.
  • Proven cooking experience, with at least 2 years of solid experience as a professional line cook in a busy, chef-driven, high volume, restaurant/hotel setting. Unfortunately, fast food/fast casual experience only does not meet our minimum requirements for this position.
  • Works well with others and works well under pressure (our restaurants get busy).
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ideally seeking a cook with experience working every station in the kitchen and ability to multi-task working more than 1 station at once on some nights.
  • Ability to read and follow recipes exactly.
    Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
