Boeing Global Services (BGS) Digital Ascent project lead analyst
Highly versatile lead analyst to develop management reporting, establish long range business plans, track actuals to plan/forecast, and present to Executive Leadership for the Digital Ascent initiative.
Digital Ascent is a key initiative in BGS growth plans to expand Boeing Global Services eCommerce and digital marketing presence, drive efficiencies in the go-to-market strategy and develop an integrated data platform to be leveraged across Boeing, customers and suppliers.
As Digital Ascent touches all capabilities and major cost classifications, this role is critical in understanding the nuances of the BGS accounting structure and working to determine appropriate cost alignment and working with multiple stakeholders across the BGS organization.
With reporting stretching across entities a high degree of coordination and data integration is required. Additionally, this is a non-recurring program that requires developing processes to support the programs unique reporting requirements while abiding to established finance practices and schedules. This complex and highly visible project provides opportunities to lead cross functionally and be a key business partner to multiple finance and non-finance teams.
Establish resource plans for program to include work breakdown structure, organization and cost classification.
Performance Reporting of actuals to baseline Plan and Forecast
Align with Accounting on cost classification determinations
Long Range Business Plan coordination for Digital Ascent
Conduct financial scenarios, identifying Opportunities and Risks
Seek means to optimize project financial performance in line with long term BGS objectives
Business Case analysis, including tracking program benefits
Lead and integrate cross functionally across entities and organizations (including subsidiaries)

Strong verbal, written communication skills and presentation skills
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowePoint
3+ years leading or participating on cross-functional teams
Working knowledge of Boeing financial systems (CARMS, Cognos, EPAS, ERP, etc)
Proactive, results oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities
Critical thinking and problem solving capabilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong technical background (finance, accounting, estimating, data integration)
Highly productive and strong work management skills given small team to support major initiative
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
