We're looking for an Experienced Coax Splicer to join our team and help connect America. With direction, performs duties as a Coax Splicer as a part of the construction of telecommunications to ensure scope of work performed is within standards required by our customer. Pay Range: $27 - $30 per hour What you'll do… Repair or splice in new line as needed to complete the testing and certification of the project.

Place and install required coax cable when necessary to complete assignment(s). Install all passive and active devices, pedestals, and vaults and coax splice cases required to house CATV equipment per customer requirements. Test Coax-RF lines for acceptable signal between points-continuity and fault. Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to increase capacity.

Utilize RF Meters and OTDR accurately. Close a project by completing production sheets, verifying proper levels after activation, and adjust and troubleshoot, as necessary. Reconcile all issued parts and materials daily to ensure accurate material usage counts.

Qualifications Qualifications: At least one year of experience as a coax splicer with experience on outside plant or system installations while working from blueprints, specifications, and system documentation.

Valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
