Experienced CNC Machinist

Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team on the 1st shift. Must be proficient in set-ups. Mastercam experience a plus, but now necessary. Responsibilities: Responsible for set-up, adjustment and operation of CNC Mills on parts of varying complexity Uses computer printouts for proper sequencing of machine set-ups, selecting and placing tooling and fixtures Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met Measuring and recording to ensure product is within customer specifications Monitors dimensions and makes adjustments as required to maintain tolerances. Perform routine machine maintenance; Chuck greasing, adding oils & maintaining coolants Monitor tool wear, change tools and inserts as required Make edits when necessary Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skill & Ability: Must have at least 5 years of experience in set-up and operating Mastercam knowledgeable preferred Experienced in set-up through operation Must have a keen eye for detail Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to read blueprint drawings, job orders, tooling instructions Ability to understand manufacturing program Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely Must be mechanically inclined and have good math skill
