Job Responsibilities

  • Conducts vehicle inspections for mechanical services

  • Perform automotive repairs

  • Perform schedule maintenance services on vehicles

  • Perform tire installations and repairs

  • Assist in receiving and stocking inventory

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Automotive Repair Experience

  • Tire and Lube Technician Experience

  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Criminal Background Check

  • Pre-employment Drug Screen

  • Must be 18 years or older

About the Position of Alignment Technician Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customers' vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Alignment Technicians reduce customers' tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles. To be eligible for the position of Alignment Technician you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license. As an active position, Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
