THE JOB / Experience Strategist
CREATIVE / Responsible for generating bold, innovative ideas and producing design, technology and content for our clients' marketing programs
Do you love to explore new technologies or find new ways to refresh old ideas? Get ready to recreate existing technology to discover new uses for experiential builds and work with design-minded people to deliver innovative and exciting projects as an Experience Strategist on our Innovation team. You will closely collaborate with our Experience Manager and development team to create, produce, and execute interactive programs for our US and international clients. In this unique opportunity, you'll work closely with our technology experience strategy and creative teams to pitch and create interactive products and offerings we can execute for our international clients. THE WORK YOU'LL DO
Collaborate with design-minded (creative and technology) people
Support multiple web-based and interactive projects
Lead execution of full project lifecycle including project discovery, gathering of creative and business assets, testing and launching and project
Participate in discussions on responsive design for creative concepts
Grow into a technology leader demonstrating and understanding of mobile and wearable technologies and web-based APIs.
Coordinate discussions around emerging technologies and oversee third party partnerships Octagon has in place
Clearly discuss and explain your solutions with both technical and non-technical team members
Present work directly with clients
Experiential hardware tinkering for onsite set-up and installation

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's Degree and/or 1-3 years' relevant experience in technology, design, or project management
Work with concepting/creative teams to build ideas to their full potential, using emerging technologies
Act as communication hub - both internally and externally - throughout all project phases
Stay on-top of the latest technologies and identify ways to apply them
Repurpose technology and uncover new ways to create fan experiences
Share new technology offerings to inspire the company
Become a technology leader with a point of view for Octagon
Concept innovation workshops with team members and clients
Previous agency experience is beneficial, though not essential
Project management or digital production experience
Experience activating or launching on-site experiential events
Maintain effective working relationships across client, agency and creative team
Assist Innovation team on vendor relationships to ensure satisfactory execution of work
Begins to gain general understanding of client's (internal & external) business and target consumers
Participates and contributes creative ideas, tactics and concepts during ideation sessions
