SCOPE:

This position is responsible to coordinate and execute the critical ship and month end lists based on program forecast; ensure expeditors deliver product to and from departments for specific products as needed, and assist production in all functions. Supports the manufacturing and business requirements of the Division. Collaborate with Program manager and production control to coordinate daily/monthly work flow. Responsible for on time delivery and quality metrics. Plays a role in moving jobs based on priority within the manufacturing area. Program specialists will bridge production expeditors to the program management level by gaining knowledge in both the business and production functions of TTM's role in the global printed circuit board market. Position reports to the Production Control Manager.

DUTIES & ESPONSIBILITIES: (include but are not limited to)

  • Collaborates with program manager and production control to establish a level work load; coordinate and execute the critical ship and meet monthly forecasts. Responsible for meeting the daily and weekly production schedules.

  • Oversees execution of ship list on daily basis.

  • Plan and manage schedules for maintaining on-time delivery and overall quality to assigned cells.

  • Work with Leads and Supervisors in various production areas to assign operators where needed to meet production schedules.

  • Attend production meetings as required.

  • Perform audits of work in production.

  • Perform production activities when necessary to meet goals or as short term substitute operator.

  • Maintains a high level of professionalism at all times. Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc on material status and production planning issues.

  • Follows all company procedures.

EHS Requirements:

  • Accomplish all job related paperwork in the most accurate, timely and ethical manner.

  • Follow all company Safety and ESD Program requirements.

  • Communicates regularly to supervisors and managers, suggests and composes procedural changes and process improvements, maintains a clean, safe work environment, and communicates to supervisors safety hazards and issues.

  • Properly handle and dispose all waste, including hazardous wastes that are generated in daily operations as directed by EHS Department.

  • Responsible to report all accidents, near misses, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. Perform job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow directions identified in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.

ITAR Compliance:

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education / Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 4 years electronic, pcb and assembly production knowledge required. Experience leading others required.

  • Previous experience with technical problem solving situations.

  • Ability to pass eye exam with a minimum 20/20 vision that may be corrected via eyeglasses or contact lenses as required. Eye exam is required annually.

  • Experience with expediting, systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, and manufacturing safety practices.

  • Good computer skills, Windows, Outlook; strong Microsoft Excel skills for managing spread sheets. Familiarity with Praxa a plus.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively to all levels or management and notify appropriate parties of issues and/or upcoming time-frames and deadlines.

  • Ability to work hours beyond normal shift schedule and is flexible to work weekends when necessary.

  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and sit or stand for up to 9 hours a day.
