ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Confers with the manager on duty about prep lists to determine requirements of the day.
Follows company recipes when preparing foods.
Coordinates and garnishes meals.
Assists servers in food pick-up.
Communicates special food order instructions from servers to cooking staff.
Makes certain final food products is complete and of the utmost quality.
Helps minimize cost and control waste by using proper portions of garnishes; rotating food and sauces properly; maintaining proper; and maintain proper holding temperatures of food.
Observes good sanitation and safety procedures.
Maintains cleanliness and organization area.
Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
Works effectively and professionally with other departments of the restaurants.
Knowledgeable of the Trop Casino Greenville internal controls, policies and procedures.
Must be able to understand and communicate in English.
Must be able to work a variety of hours, holidays and weekends.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned by management.
