Our client, a major oil and gas company, is seeking a full-time Expeditor. This 1 yr contract position will support their Major Projects team and be Calgary based with occasional travel required. Position Requirements:

  •     10+ years experience (preference given to oil and gas experience)
    Expedite documents and materials to meet the project schedule
  •     Support supply management team tracking all aspects of the procurement cycle, from placement of order until final delivery and turnover documentation
    Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  •     Ability to travel as required to various supplier locations and fabrication shops 
    complete and submit expediting shop visit reports
  •     Closely interface with various departments including: procurement, materials, logistics, site materials and receiving, engineering, document control and quality.
    Good communication and interpersonal skills
  •     Attention to detail, problem solving and decision making abilities,
    Time management skills
  •     Understanding of suppliers processes from receipt of order, order entry/effective start date, supplier/fabrication schedules, order closeout
    Proficiency in Excel and Word for reporting
