Expeditors are responsible for expediting delivery of electronic components from vendors in a manner which ensures total quality and effective customer service.
Expedites delivery of electronic components within established guidelines and processes
Vendors contact via phone, mail and/or electronic communication
Reviews reports, analyzes data and develops productive solutions for expediting product delivery
Communicates with vendors to obtain product or service information such as availability and delivery schedule
Communicates with sales, buyers, and others as needed to determine and relay delivery needs and information.
Supports the total quality process and demonstrates a positive attitude toward self and others in a customer service oriented environment.
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years post high school experience including minimum 1 year approved work experience or equivalent combination or education and experience.

SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment; proficient with internet, e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other software.
Able to read and understand terminal screen and printed reports.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Skill evaluation: Math 90%, Spelling typing 40 WPM, Basic Excel 70%.
Detailed and thorough in work habits.
Excels in written and oral business communications.
Clear enunciation of English and a courteous telephone voice and phone hearing.
