Lyft is looking to hire a passionate and detail oriented Expansion Lead who will play an integral role in expanding bike share to new Bay Area communities and sustain our footprint in existing communities.

  • Partner with Growth Operations Manager project manager and execute new product launches

  • Partner with business and product leadership to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, programs, and infrastructure

  • Proactively work to remove obstacles and enable forward momentum and progress

  • Act as project manager for complex multi-stakeholder, cross-functional initiatives

  • Maintain documentation and project plans

  • Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships and communication at all levels of the organization

  • Balance between intellectual curiosity and the desire to roll up your sleeves and execute

  • Willingness to spend time in the field learning the business and looking for improvements

  • Support in-field observations with data to influence a compelling story for product changes


  • 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Must have strong analytical skills, be able to see patterns, be a fast thinker and a good decision-maker

  • Demonstrate initiative, persistence, ability to problem solve, willingness to think outside the box, and enthusiasm for learning new skills

  • Ability to understand complex concepts and work across multiple functions and teams

  • Hands-on experience project or program managing initiatives from start to finish

  • Excellent organizational skills to juggle many tasks without losing sight of the highest priority items

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence and motivate people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions

  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized, self-starter and a great communicator

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to stay focused under pressure, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

The AWS Training & Certification (T&C) team is looking for an experienced candidate to drive the Go-to-Market (GTM) global expansion planning, as well as lead a consistent framework for piloting new T&C offers. As a leader on the T&C GTM Strategy & Programs team, reporting to the T&C GTM Lead, you will have the opportunity to grow and manage a team of GTM strategists. You will be responsible for planning and prioritizing the geographic expansion and market entry of T&C offers across the globe. You will also lead our efforts to accelerate T&C innovation by providing a globally consistent framework for piloting and launching the GTM roll-out for new T&C products, modalities, offers, and programs. The ideal candidate has both a strategic business background that enables him or her to easily interact at senior leadership levels, as well as a deep understanding of international expansion planning and product innovation models. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business challenges, and are able to build and convey compelling plans and frameworks. You have a natural ability to instill excitement and gain respect from the most senior leaders. You understand the nuances of various geographic markets and know what it takes to prioritize country-specific roll-out plans.
