As an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, you must have a positive and outgoing personality, exceptional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills, excellent patient care skills and strong organizational skills.

• Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

• Ability to build rapport with patients

• Good manual dexterity

• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs

• Expanded Functions school cerifications required; Ability to train newly graduated assistant

• Previous work experience in a dental practice is a plus; Ability to train a new dental assisting graduate

• Expanded Functions certifications required; Must include: Fixed/Removable Prosthetics and Restorative 1

• Restorative 2 highly preferred

• Ortho Expanded Functions preferred

• Must be confident and experienced in making temp crowns, and iTero scanning required
