General Summary

Receives Guidance from Exercise Planers II and III Conducts and supports coordination and planning with customer units for Collective Training Event Life Cycle Management

Principle Duties / Responsibilities

Assist in the efforts in the coordination planning and development of all levels of Collective Training.

1.Assists unit leadership in planning collective training that will meet their training objectives; identifies any gaps (resource training, equipment, etc.) and works with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training.

2.Gathers observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs).

3.Coordinates logistics for instruction events, including scheduling classes and reserving classrooms.

4.Maintain Event Packages for events and track unit progression throughout the Planning, Preparation and Execution phases.

5.Updates Event Package documentation as needed to ensure timeliness and relevance of deliverables.

6.Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

7.Participates in special projects as required.

8.Operate Video Teleconference (VTC) equipment as required.

Skills Requirement

1.Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of training programs.

2.Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills.

3.MCIS proficiency required.

4.MSEL development experience preferred.

5.Education/Experience Requirement: AA/AS ,3+ Years experience

VIEW JOBS 6/3/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-09-01T00:00 Job Description What You'll Get to Do: As a CACI-WGI (The Wexford Group International) Mission Training Complex (MTC) Exercise Planner you will coordinate efforts between the ET2RC's Training Development and Delivery (TDD) functions and Mission Training Complexes. Through our TDD Lead you will provide the most relevant feedback and training profiles to the Army Reserve units from Company to Brigade level and ensure Soldiers are prepared to counter IED and UAS threats and beyond, to include National Defense Strategy (NDS) 2+3 emerging threats from near-peer competitors. You will execute exercise design and development using the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) model and is the primary action officer for one or more assigned joint or service-component exercises. More About the Role: You will plan and coordinate 1st Army and ARHQ-FB participation in assigned joint and service (Title 10) exercises, ensuring exercise purpose, exercise objectives, training audience, and training objectives support the Exercise Directive. You will coordinate across the Exercise Planning staff in order to integrate the appropriate level of staff oversight and participation in exercise planning and execution. You will also ensure assigned exercise and events are coordinated with all stakeholders to include respective combatant command headquarters, other service component and sub-unified command headquarters, exercise participants, and interagency partners. You will coordinate and source exercise participants in the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS), while determining exercise funding requirements and sources and manage the exercise budget. You will draft, coordinate, and provide in-progress reviews (IPRs) and exercise confirmation briefs at an appropriate level consistent with event scope and objectives, up to and including briefs at the combatant commander and ambassadorial levels. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance. * More than two years of experience in the virtual training environment. * Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing. * Willing to conduct periodic travel within CONUS and OCONUS locations. * Willing to work rotating shifts if needed - that may include nights and weekends. * Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related military experience, or 15 years of relevant military work experience. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: * C&GSC graduate. * Battalion and/or Brigade staff level experience. * A minimum of three years' joint exercise planning experience at the service component- or combatant command level and demonstrated fluency with joint operations. Joint Training Information System (JTIMS) is preferred.
