JOB SUMMARY Cardiac Rehab Exercise Physiologists deliver care to patients assessing, improving, and maintaining patients# fitness and health. The American Society of Exercise Physiologists has defined the profession as #the study, assessment, and improvement of human biomechanical movement.# Exercise Physiologists collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.# Exercise Physiologists effectively interact with patient and significant others and provide direct and individualized care to patients based on the application of American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation standards.# # Exercise Physiologists have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities, surveys, and improvement initiatives. Cardiac Rehab Exercise Physiologists provide rehabilitation therapies which include telemetry monitoring while exercising and intense individualized education.
