Exercise Physiologist - HCM Executive Programs (Newport Beach, CA, US, 92617)

Salary Range: $30.7500 - $47.2800 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Exercise Physiologist assists participants during the Hoag Executive Health physical in achieving his/her optimal functional capacity through exercise, education, and risk factor modification. This role heavily involves providing appropriate exercise and metabolic assessments. Documents timely and accurately regarding participant results, and patient education provided.

Utilizes appropriate resources regarding participant problems or unusual responses to exercise. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field required.

Previous experience in cardiovascular fitness testing and functional strength assessment required.

Master's Degree in related field preferred.

Experience with EKG monitoring/education preferred.

Certifications Required

BLS

Certifications Preferred

ACSM EP-C or CEP

NASM CES or PES
