  • This position supports I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF) G-7 / Expeditionary Operations Training Group (EOTG) in the development and execution of intelligence based scenarios in support of pre-deployment training exercises for deploying Marine Air Ground Task Forces (MAGTFs), with a focus on Marine Expeditionary Units (MEUs).

Job Responsibilities:

  • The analyst, under the guidance of the I MEF G-7 Intelligence OIC, will use current events, long-term trends, and an understanding of real world intelligence to assist in the development realistic training scenarios.

  • Scenario development will include the development of country fact book type information, geo- political information, order of battle analysis, and realistic/simulated road to crisis timelines.

  • Additionally, the exercise support analyst will assist EOTG staff in the development of Master Scenario Events List (MSEL), and other exercise scripting tools.

  • The analyst is responsible for researching, developing, presenting, and publishing all-source intelligence products at the tactical and operational level.

  • The exercise support analyst is responsible for attending meetings and conducting comprehensive research on complex topics independently, or as part of a larger analytical effort.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience.
  • 14+ yrs experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with the development of all-source intelligence injects.

  • Candidate should have excellent communication skills for working with customers.

  • Proficient in the use of basic intelligence computer applications and intelligence-related automation, including MS Office Product Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) to support analytical efforts and product development.

  • Ability to utilize intelligence computer based analytic tools such as Palantir.

  • Familiarization with intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR) assets. Familiarization with Marine Expeditionary Unit deployments/missions.

Required Clearances:

  • DOD Secret clearance.

  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

This position provides Contractor Identification Card Administration to Government clients as a DEERS/RAPIDS Site Security Manager (SSM) at the base or site level and performs all ID card and CAC issuance related tasks to include researching and reviewing source documents, verifying eligibility, and discussing entitlements as defined in AFI 36-3026_IP and the RAPIDS Training Guide. Responsibilities include: * -Site POC for RAPIDS-related matters * -Managing security of RAPIDS workstations under assigned purview ensuring they are operated and maintained under security procedures * -Ensuring maximum protection against compromise and theft of sensitive information and prevent the misuse or misappropriation of RAPIDS * -Implementing training and awareness for RAPIDS security, and incorporate this training into the overall unit security and RAPIDS training programs * -Registering, processing, and maintaining Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) and Real-Time Automated Identification System (RAPIDS) as part of a Verifying Official's responsibilities * -Ensuring unit's contingency plans incorporate RAPIDS requirements * -Maintaining site Roster of RAPIDS users and assigning associated roles/categories * -Viewing/updating RAPIDs configuration utilities as needed * -Requesting DEERS new user logins, deleting discontinued logons, and updating security privileges for previously issued ID's * -Ensuring APIDS audit trails are reviewed at least weekly and that audit files are maintained for thirty days; along with reviewing system audit trails and investigating security violations in coordination with Security Manager in accordance with Appendix K – Incident Response Plan * -Reporting incidents to the Identification Card Administration Project Management Office with immediate reporting of: any attempt to gain unauthorized access to Sensitive defense information, any system failure, or any suspected defect that could lead to unauthorized disclosure * -Deactivating/reporting security violations and report SSM changes immediately to DEERS Security * -Maintaining Site Information (i.e. site name, site location address, site phone numbers, and site mailing address) * -Maintaining a file copy of the generic or type accreditation statement, and prepare unit-specific recommendations, through the appropriate chain of command, for input into the accreditation document, as required * -Preserving accountability for all related stock items and printer consumables by following prescribed Insurance Logistic Portal acceptance procedures, including signing for stock, verifying card numbers contained, and accepting/rejecting each carton of CAC shipment prior to releasing for use * -Performing routine operator maintenance on RAPIDS workstations and printers * -Issuing memorandum of authorization for use of Commissary and Post Exchange to eligible customers * -Position requires ability to speak, read, and comprehend English including printed regulations, detailed written orders, operating procedures, training instructions and materials.
