Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of leadership team master calendar to include scheduling, updating and communication of events/activities

  • Assist leadership team with travel and expense reporting

  • Assist leadership team by coordinating site meetings, customer visits, events and conferences

  • Arrange and set up conference calls and video conferences, site wide events

  • Organize, manage, track and communicate project deadlines to ensure deadlines are successfully met

  • Use strong organizational skills to aid others in being more productive.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to schedule meetings for company president

  • Prepare visitor notifications for customer, interviewee or other site visitors for the leadership team

  • Coordinate event and supply logistics for the associate action team

  • Manage site events to include benefits events, flu shots, company party, etc.

  • Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality

  • Limited coordination of lunches for site wide events / meetings (customer meetings, employee events), and limited ordering of supplies for site wide needs

  • Anticipate and prepare materials needed for interviews, meetings, and conference calls may include the draft setup and/or typing of meeting agendas, reports, presentations, emails and letters

  • Use independent analysis and judgment to compile reports, presentations, charts and graphs in support of site activities

  • Create and maintain various department reports in Excel including budgets, expense reports and purchase orders.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree

  • 2 years' experience or degree equivalency in lieu of experience

  • Experience in Microsoft office suite to include word, excel and power point

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Expertise in SharePoint and server/cloud based file sharing systems

  • Advanced presentation building and business writing skills

  • Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Strong ability to gather, analyze, and summarize data for reports & presentations

  • Proven track record of continuous improvement and automating manual processes.

  • Shows understanding of how business and department processes interconnect within organization and among business divisions. Takes into account different dimensions (cross-functional, short and long-term goals) to develop optimal solutions

  • Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness of work, monitors own work to ensure quality

  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations with discretion

  • Reaches appropriate resolution in many varied situations that requires gaining the cooperation of others in sensitive situations without damaging internal or external relationships

  • In depth knowledge of business language, grammar, spelling, and punctuation and able to develop concise and exceptional written communications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced complex environment, and able to be innovative and creative in work responsibilities

  • Knowledgeable in creating an effective workflow and have excellent organizational skills

Responsibilities In partnership with leaders, the market executive develops and executes strategy to grow business within specific market * Understand market priorities, insights, influences and potential disruptors * Strategically analyze market trends and develop plan for understanding customers and winning work Leads business development within specific market in partnership with others (VP/GM, BD leader, Market Strategy leader) * Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners including, but not limited to: targeted customers, design professionals, partner companies, community leaders, utilities, equipment manufacturers, and engineering firms * Become familiar with customer's project estimates to facilitate discussion with customer Establish and maintain successful customer/community relationships within specific market * Conduct key customer service visits throughout projects within market, from preconstruction client surveys to close-out, ensuring project commitments are met, and issues are resolved * Act as primary customer contact for projects within market * Maintain customer relationships to be aware of current and future projects Provide leadership to project teams within specific market * Review work of PE, Senior PM and PM assigned to project * Mentor and manage team members, establishing and fostering team environment * Develop team members for future career consideration and training opportunities Other duties as assigned * Use the appropriate level of forethought and planning in decision making to assure project success Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience * Minimum 10 years prior experience in management of large wastewater / water projects * Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills * Exceptional business acumen * Experience with the full cycle of construction from preconstruction / estimating to closeout * Ability to analyze market trends and determine options to meet customer needs * Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple projects * Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices * Microsoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level * Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies * Must be willing to travel up to 75% * Current driver's license Mortenson is an EOE/Affirmative Action/M/F/Veteran/Disabled employer. #LI-DB1 Mortenson Chandler AZ
