Join our team to assist in building Macquarie's data and analytics capabilities within the Non-Financial Risk space. As a data specialist, you will work across multiple non-financial risk areas such as compliance, operational risk and financial crime.

What role will you play?

Engaging with business stakeholders, you will document and translate their risk management objectives into functional requirements by coordinating the delivery and build of data and reporting solutions with data engineers, reporting developers and end users. By analysing and interpreting structured data sets using a variety of tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, PBI, Alteryx), you will communicate status updates to key stakeholders and ensure milestones and risks are effectively managed.
What you offer

Experience working with data and analytics systems within financial services, ideally using BI tools such as PowerBI and power platform
Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be working with stakeholders across all levels
A computer science or finance related degree is advantageous
Passionate about the potential application of cloud based big data technologies with an inquisitive mindset and a genuine desire to understand and solve problems

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
