Weber Shandwick seeks two senior leaders to advise an enterprise technology client, provide counsel on issues affecting the global technology industry and identify new opportunities to grow the account.
Account co-lead: Seasoned communications leader with technology chops and media smarts to join the senior leadership team for major enterprise communications company, including a mix of multiple agency and in-house personnel, under the CCO. With the support of Weber's extensive network resources this person will help plot and execute the resurgence of one of the technology industry's most trusted brands. Knowledge of the competitive landscape in AI, cloud, blockchain and quantum computing technologies is valuable, but we're looking for someone with unique insight and sophisticated communications thinking to play as part of a blended agency/client team.
Media: A senior media strategist to help a major enterprise technology company plot and build relationships with senior business and technology editors in the US and globally. This is an active media engagement role and we are is looking for senior professional with relationships that can be leveraged to upscale conversations and tell original stories that define social, business and innovation leadership for one of the tech industry's most trusted brands. Working as part of the agency/client senior communications leadership team, including multiple agencies and in-house personnel under the CCO, this person will need to be prepared to think fast and drive immediate outcomes, while also leading helping with longer term editorial planning and news desk assignments.
Both role will sit in New York, but will work hand-in-hand with an integrated team members across the network. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience leading a global account and demonstrated success in navigating complex corporate environments.Responsibilities

Identify growth opportunities to introduce additional capabilities and services that will help client meet their strategic objectives
Set and shepherd vision for proactive business growth, global expansion and innovation of work
Manage and Develop an Integrated Account Team
Lead of a large, media results-driven account and integrated media team
Proven aptitude to solve problems, handle crises, and make quick decisions with incomplete information
Acting as an inspiring leader who supervises and develops staff members
Shape vision for talent evolution across teams and group
Effectively navigate global firm resources to bring optimal mix to grow/deepen client engagements
Senior client leader spanning 15+ years agency experience required.
BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field
Senior level client counsel experience
Experience leading and collaborating with integrated account teams
Proven track record of selling ideas to clients
Deep understanding of tech media platforms and emerging trends
Strong financial performance management experience
