General Description:

Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations will provide strategic oversight of ACCO's internal corporate business groups, play a key role in the company's future growth and does not include sales responsibility. The Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations will work with corporate business leaders who lead the following departments: Human Resources, Business Operations & Technology, Engineering, Information Technology, Safety, Signatory Labor Relations and Procurement. The Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations will be a key member of the executive management team and be responsible for maintaining the functionality of each business group to drive extensive, sustainable growth and oversee the organization's ongoing corporate operations and procedures. The Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations will maintain control of diverse business operations and is expected to be an experienced and efficient leader, with excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethic. The successful candidate must have senior management presentation skills and will routinely present to the President and CEO and at times to the Board of Directors. The working relationship between the Executive Vice President, Corporate Operations and the President and CEO is critical to the success of the role. This role is in partnership with the CEO where a high level of collaboration and trust must be exercised to achieve desired results with the highest positive impact and least negative impact to the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee ACCO's internal corporate operations working with leadership in the following departments: Human Resources, Business Operations & Technology, Engineering, Information Technology, Safety, Signatory Labor Relations, and Procurement.

  • Be an integral leader on supporting organic and acquisition growth including integration of systems and procedures, work closely with the Communications and Marketing Departments, and at times, supporting the Company's real estate endeavors.

  • Lead, collaborate, design and implement effective growth business strategies, plans and procedures.

Spearhead strategies to steer the company's future in a positive direction.

  • Attract, recruit and retain required members of the team not currently in place and for succession.

Establish policies that promote company culture and vision. Work collaboratively to develop and/or

improve systems, processes, controls and procedures that improve the overall efficiency of the firm and

ensure excellent client service.

  • Set comprehensive goals to accommodate ACCO's performance and growth. Conduct regular

performance assessments of key department heads, providing constructive feedback and implementing

development plans as needed.

  • Advise management of any project delays or budget challenges and identify options/alternatives.

  • Keep the CEO in the know on all matters of importance and on contemplated changes in direction.

  • Oversee execution of the capital expenditure spending.

  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):

  • A bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, architecture, construction management, or

other related field required; master's in business administration (MBA) preferred.

  • A minimum of 10 years leading and managing people

  • Continuous self-directed education/learning of best practices, leadership skills, thought leadership and

mentoring.

Competitive Wages:

$300,000 to $550,000 Annual Salary. Applicants, please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
