Provides secretarial and administrative support for the director and professional budget staff of the Health and Human Services Divisions of the Bureau of Budget. Provides technical assistance in the preparation of budget documents, spreadsheets, materials for legislative hearings, and prepares data displays (graphics, tables and charts) that illustrate the Department's clients and programs.
Assists in preparing financial data for entry into SIGMA. Accesses and runs SIGMA reports. Serves as back-up for the Bureau Director's Senior Executive Management Assistant.

Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
Five years of office experience involving administrative support practices, including two years equivalent to advanced (8) level administrative support work, Secretary E8, or Legal Secretary E8; or, one year equivalent to a Secretary 9, Legal Secretary 9, or Senior Executive Management Assistant 9.

This position is located at 235 S. Grand Ave., Lansing, MI, but may be assigned to work from home for a period of time, until further notice.
