MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The duties of the Executive Secretary shall include, but are not limited to the following:
Perform entire range of legal secretarial and administrative support for the Section Chief.
Compose correspondence for the Section Chief.
Provide legal secretarial support for one to two Assistant Attorneys General in addition to Section Chief.
Serve as the lead secretary for the section.
Supervises legal secretary staff assigned to the section.
Delegate tasks as needed to ensure an efficient workflow and proper support is provided for all attorneys.
Prepare and maintain administrative records including confidential personnel records for the Section.
Maintain log of incoming suits and suit assignments.
Make arrangements for routine and seminar travel.
The position of Executive Secretary may consist of, but are not limited to, the following duties:
Provide legal secretarial and administrative support for the Section Chief.
Provide legal secretarial support for other Assistant Attorneys General as assigned by the Section Chief.
Compose letters and memos for the Section Chief and various attorneys.
Drafting and formatting pleadings for filing with the court.
Prepare and maintain all administrative records, time and attendance records as well as confidential personnel records for the Section.
Maintain central calendar of court appearances for all attorneys in the section.
Prepare travel authorizations and coordinate travel arrangements for the Section Chief attend seminars.
Maintain log of incoming suits and suit assignments.
Screen all visitors, incoming suits and suit assignments.
Screen all visitors, incoming mail and caners for the section chief.
Attend various meetings with the Section Chief.
