Executive Recruiter Job Duties

As an Executive Recruiter, you will become a career match-maker by connecting skilled professionals to organizations in need of skilled talent. Each day you will prospect and sell to new clients and problem solve with existing clients to fully understand their hiring needs. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience in the staffing industry

  • Minimum of 1 year staffing or recruiting experience

  • Minimum of 2 year of business to business sales experience

SUMMARY The Executive Recruiter (ER) is primarily responsible for qualifying and selling to a hand- picked, elite group of accomplished, senior business leaders in their multi-state region of responsibility, on the value of helping CEOs, business owners and key executives reach their highest potential by becoming a Vistage Chair. He/she will be measured on his/her ability to conduct thorough phone conversations with senior executives, thereby engaging and then qualifying their interest of moving forward in the Chair journey and ultimate invitation to attend Vistage Chair Academy (a week of dedicated training for all new Chair candidates in San Diego), so a strong track record in successful phone sales at the C-level is a must, all while maintaining sales pipeline/ forecasting metrics in the company's CRM system, The Executive Recruiter will rely upon leads generated via a number of Vistage supported lead sources such as nominations (referrals) from our Chair/ Member and Speaker communities, online SEO marketing (Google,, etc.) and social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), all supported by a dedicated team of marketing personnel researching the internet for qualified candidates, so roughly 85% of the leads will arrive via Vistage sponsored activities to pursue and close to contract, while the remaining 15% will be self-generated using the various technologies made available to assist in that endeavor. Therefore, an individual who is savvy with SalesForce CRM, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social media tactics is a plus. In addition to a generous base salary, the specific metric by which this position is commissioned both quarterly and yearly, is the number of Chair candidates they get to attend and then graduate from each of the 7 Chair Training Academy classes throughout the year. In addition, they will also participate in the corporate bonus plan, which is offered to all employees in the organization at the start of each fiscal year. RESPONSIBILITIES * Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Vistage CE/SB products, the Chair role in leading a Vistage Group, and the ideal Chair candidate profile * Assess candidate skill and ability to Chair a Vistage Group * Fit with Vistage culture and core values * "Why" behind choosing Vistage as a next career * Ability to facilitate monthly meetings using Vistage tools and methods * Ability to conduct impactful 1-2-1s * Assess candidate ability to build a Vistage Group * Familiarity and longevity within their build market * Understanding of the benefits of Vistage/peer advisory; belief in the product core value proposition * Comfort with selling big-ticket, intangible goods * Sufficient financial runway and time commitment to build a Group * Confirm candidate background search meets Vistage quality standards * Build and develop relationships with essential Vistage departments (Business Development, Regional Executives, Regional Consultants, Client Services and Executive Leadership) * Provide an exceptional, white-glove Chair candidate experience * Communicate with Chair candidates in every step of their journey, from identification to academy graduation to launch * Accurately process applicants through Salesforce * Ensure all Chair candidates are correctly dispositioned in Salesforce * Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports/dashboards to executive leaders * Execute Chair contracts * Minimize "drop-out" between contract and Chair academy by remaining close * Represent the Vistage brand with the highest degree of professionalism * Demonstrate executive presence with the senior leaders that become Chair candidates EXPERIENCE * 4 year college degree * Previous experience in solution selling/relationship selling to high level clients * 5+ year's successful experience with inside phone sales/ consulting. * Strong understanding of SalesForce CRM tool * Strong PC skills required, including proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
