The City of Hampton is looking for an Executive Operations Manager to manage the administrative operations and resources for the City Manager's office.

Reporting directly to the City Manager, this position will foster collaboration and a team approach to provide responsive, effective and professional support.  You will establish office procedures that support ongoing communication and open dialogue with the Mayor, City Council, department directors, stakeholders and community members.

Some of the main areas of responsibility include communications, schedule and calendar management, budget monitoring and records administration. Success in this position requires tact, conflict resolution, creative problem solving, exceptional customer service and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or Business Administration from an accredited college or university or a closely related field of study, and five (5) years of full-time experience in administration and two (2) years of full-time supervisory experience.
