Executive Meeting Manager - GVR

Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management. Maintain a productive and effective working relationship with all departments. Have an understanding of Hotel Occupancy with an awareness of Casino Events, Holidays, and City Wide Conventions.

Immediately respond to daily inquiries/leads. Prepare and produce contract, banquet event orders, resumes and coordination of any outside vendors. Overall knowledge of room capacities for conference facilities.

Ability to define problems, collect data, facts, and prepare valid solutions. Attend Sales and Catering Huddles as scheduled. Ability to create detailed menus that pertain to the specifics of each event.

Supervise the proper execution of events by coordinating and managing the efforts of the Banquet Operations and Support Teams. Exercise the general responsibilities necessary to minimize operation cost and maximize operational profits. Communicate information to Hotel Operations, Group Reservations, Banquets, Kitchen, and Stewarding relevant to a group.

Maintain healthy working relationships and professional climate. Other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of relevant Group Sales and/or Hotel Catering experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team members, and management.

Friendly, outgoing personality. Neat and professional appearance. Excellent communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines. Ability to manage and perform a variety of duties with extreme care and attention to detail.
