This position is designed to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction to external clients and internal partners with the goal of garnering both repeat and referral business from client base. In addition to maintaining existing business, this position will be responsible for finding new business and saturating existing accounts and/or segments. This positions serves as liaison between the customer, the Sales team and the Operations team.

Monitor all lead sources and inquiries that fall within parameters and respond in a quick, timely, and professional manner with intent to close on business to maximize overall top line revenue of the hotel.

Provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients at all times.

Deliver clear and concise communication that is representative of Concord Hospitality.

Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation and proactive planning.

Possess strong organization skills with a keen focus on detail.

Maintain existing assigned accounts/segments, and work diligently to develop new business for hotel.

Effectively and efficiently monitor and manage all aspects of the pre-group and/or event, group and/or event, and post group and/or event details: Track, detail, and communicate the particulars of each assigned event and group -- including but not limited to -- room blocks, meeting space, special concessions, group history and other reports, cut-off and other key dates, contract clauses, group resumes, event orders and BEO's, billing details, and other integral aspects of groups and events.

Be an expert at the hotel's offerings including accommodations, amenities, local area, pricing, food and beverage products, pricing and presentation, hotel's function space, audio visual, packages, concessions and any other details related to group and/or event success.

Understand the conditions and strategies that will maximize space and rooms and impact hotel revenues.

Learn and use digital sales systems and conceptual sales processes (i.e. Envision, Delphi, CI/TY, PMS, sales call process, etc.) and understand the hotel's sales strategies (i.e. Marketing Plan, rates, budgeted goals, etc.). Implement these tools and resources in order to accomplish individual and team goals and efficiently complete job duties.

Be willing and able to attend customer functions as needed.

Work to consistently meet the goals and performance metrics as required for this position, as outlined by hotel brand, Concord, your Regional VPS, and your immediate Supervisor, the Director of Sales & Marketing.

Prepare for and participate in all necessary internal meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, and other communications required for this position.

Prepare for and participate in client site visits, tasting panels, pre- and post-cons planning meetings, networking, and other customer-centric meetings as necessary.

You can learn more about Spectra at www.spectraexperiences.com/ Responsibilities * Actively prospect and qualify new business * Handle inquiry calls and provide client proposals in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures. * Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections, and off-site presentations for potential clients. * Maintain accurate information in sales management tool (Delphi or similar) on all new and ongoing leads, account information including solicitation efforts as well as all activities to ensure all are complete and documented. * Produce weekly/monthly sales-related reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility. * Produce and review all sales contracts, rate agreements, banquet/catering event orders * Attend and represent Jungle Island at trade shows and conventions and/or participate in sales trips to key feeder markets.
