The executive meetings and planning coordinator works with the executive secretary to the Priesthood and Family Executive Council (PFEC) and the managing director to schedule items for meeting agendas, to create Executive Director Meeting (EDM) minutes, and to prepare for EDM and PFEC meetings.

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, business administration, digital media, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 1-3 years of professional experience, preferably in meeting support or understanding of Church Executive Councils.

  • Customer service and results oriented.

  • Ability to solve problems and adapt to changes as needed.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to respond to direction and to work well with, communicate to, and motivate others.

  • Proficient in business tools such as Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Airtable, and so on.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective at prioritizing tasks and responding to fast-changing adjustments.

  • Coordinates meeting agendas for Executive Council and Executive Director Meetings.

  • Works with managing director and executive secretary to the PFEC on scheduling items to be presented to Executive Council and Executive Director meetings.

  • Prepares room set up and necessary documentation for meeting presentations.

  • Uses technology for optimizing meeting planning and presentation readiness.

  • Works with directors and managers to ensure timely submission of presentations.

  • Supports administrative meeting needs, such as calendar invitations and meeting minutes for Executive Director meetings,

  • Archives meeting minutes in coordination with the Church History Department.
