Executive Legal Assistant

Independence law firm Humphrey, Farrington & McClain is hiring a full-time Litigation Secretary/Legal Assistant to work in person in our office. Humphrey, Farrington & McClain is a full-service law firm in Independence, MO.

Litigation work is primarily on behalf of injured plaintiffs. This position supports Litigation attorneys. Humphrey, Farrington & McClain Litigation Secretary/Legal Assistant job duties include phones, mail, docketing, electronic and some paper filing, time entry, expense posting and bill review, preparation of correspondence and pleadings, electronic pleading filing, appointments and travel arrangements, client contact and trial support.

Humphrey, Farrington & McClain Litigation Secretary/Legal Assistant experience should include prior support of attorneys in a litigation or legal environment. Relevant education desired but not required. Humphrey, Farrington & McClain Litigation Secretary/Legal Assistant pay is based upon experience.
