The Executive Housekeeper manages the Housekeeping Department day-to-day operations and housekeeping staff. This position provides training, coaching, counseling, attendance, grooming standards, evaluating job performance and development to all housekeeping staff. Ensures all suites, common areas, and linen inventories meet VSA standards. Responsible for safe-keeping of access keys, owner and guest information, linen, unit, guest and cleaning supply inventories, and reports needs as necessary. Inspects suites and common areas, providing feedback to Resort Manager. Responsible to meet company guest satisfaction goals, including RCI Silver Crown Distinction expectations. Conducts weekly team member meetings and communicates company-wide information, Departmental/ Resort performance indicators and MSDS program and safety standards. Has a support responsibility to all functional officers, directors, and manager.

Essential Functions/Duties Include:
Facilitate hiring process, including interviewing, training, and evaluating job performance.
Provide ongoing training and development to all positions.
Interact with all staff in the Housekeeping Department.
Evaluate, coach, counsel and provide leadership support.
Conduct inspections of vacation suites and common areas, providing feedback to Housekeepers, Inspectors, and Resort Managers as needed.
Shares guest satisfaction scores/comments and gives feedback on improvement when necessary.
Meets with Resort Manager daily, inspects all interior and exterior common areas for safety and established sense of arrival expectations
Manage administrative duties and scheduling, including payroll, inventory, key control and operating expenses.
Conduct weekly department meetings and communicates company-wide information.
Reviews daily Pre arrivals, Daily Check outs, Stayovers and Early Check Outs as needed.
Inspects unoccupied suites and reports any incidents.
Reports any hazardous incidents, safety concerns, injuries or potentially dangerous situations to Resort Manager.
Keeps track of inventory and housekeeping supplies.
Inventories all department supplies, equipment, and storage areas to ensure proper inventory levels, equipment is operating properly, and storage areas are properly organized.
Coordinates activities within other departments to ensure everything runs correctly and smoothly.
Provides exceptional customer service to owners and guests with appropriate sense of urgency, follow up and communication.
Provides on-site activities, area attractions, events and other vacation information to owners/guests.
Solicits client referrals, timeshare tour opportunitites, online satifaction reviews and customer feedback for improvement.
Performs related duties as assigned or as situations dictate.
Supports other departments in light cleaning, maintenance, house-keeping, marketing, and HR activities when needed.
Minimum of 2 years experience as an Executive Housekeeper or related field supervising staff within the hospitality industry
At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience required
Must have computer experience with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required
Must have analytical skills to evaluate budgets and financial performance required
Customer service skills and abilities required.
Knowledge of housekeeping tools and equipment, including MSDS program
Experience and knowledge of commercial laundry equipment required
Physical Demands of this Position:
Position commonly requires standing, climbing stairs, talking, and hearing.
Position frequently requires walking, use of hands for lifting, placing, handling, feeling, stooping, kneeling, crouching when stocking, and shelving.
Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Any items over 25 pounds will be lifted with use of equipment or with the assistance of two or more employees.
This position requires availability to work on weekends, holidays, and some evenings!
