Job Description

Job Title: Executive Directors, Experience Design

Job Location: Irvine, California (and various and unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)

Job Type: Full Time

Rate of Pay: $269,500.00 - $346,400.00/yr.

Job Duties: Responsible for optimizing the associate, customer, and vendor experience using the Ingram Micro Xvantage platform and the Ingram Micro brand.

Oversee and lead design of all touchpoints within the platform, including products, engines, and functions to create strong ties between users and the Ingram Micro brand. Collaborate with senior stakeholders and with UX/UI internal and external teams to achieve an intuitive, impactful, and insightful experience that reflects the company's core values. Lead collaboration with Marketing, DigiTech, DigiOps, and IT teams globally, regionally, and locally to ensure the company maximizes value through an exceptional experience, earns trust, and maximizes loyalty to Ingram Micro.

Establish key needs, requirements, and expectations of Ingram Micro XvantageTM users. Develop experience design strategies that addresses key needs across platform touchpoints and functionality. Initiate strategies and put processes in place that anticipate changes in user behavior, document usage and engagement, as well as determine conversion and retention rates.

Engage and initiate design thinking to collaborate with various groups across the global organization and come up with macro epics that are the foundation of the platforms and defines experience. Work with digital teams to design, develop, lead, and ensure a seamless brand and buying experience with technology, as well as an exceptional experience with insights, content, and other touchpoints in the ways that customers engage and partner with Ingram Micro. Gather feedback from Customer Experience metrics.

Collaborate with DigiOps, digital product management, digital engineering, data team, UX, change management, and content and marketing teams on the development of new digital products and engines, as well as on the ongoing improvement of user experience with existing functionality, products, and engines. Develop and recommend new products or improvements. Ensure Customer Experience strategies align with business objectives and marketing goals and outcomes.

Utilize experience with: Product experience with user stories, epics, and driving product vision; User experience and user interface design; Developing wireframes, user stories and journeys, and prototypes optimized for devices and contexts; Adobe and Figma Suites to design products; and Leading design teams and managing stakeholders.

Position requires 20% domestic and international travel. Telecommuting/work from home is permissible.
