The Brand Lead will oversee our portfolio of Precision Oncology assets, including VITRAKVI and BAY-088. VITRAKVI is a game changing medicine for TRK-fusion solid tumors. It was the first treatment ever approved across all solid tumors and for pediatric as well as adult patients. VITRAKVI continues to be a key asset in the Bayer Oncology portfolio and a consistent growth driver for our business. Once approved, BAY 088 will be the latest addition to our Precision Oncology portfolio for patients with HER2 mutant non-small cell lung cancer.

This is a key leadership position that will serve as the Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach for our Precision Oncology assets, VITRAKVI and BAY-088, in the United States. The Brand Lead will be accountable to set and deliver on priorities and goals for these two products, own the P&L, and be the face of the brands across all Bayer functions. The Brand Lead will also be a key leader in the Product & Pipeline (P&P) Portfolio Squad team, co-creating key priorities across our entire US Pharma portfolio and building our P&P and US Pharmaceuticals Dynamics Shared Ownership (DSO) culture.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Executive Director, Vitrakvi & Bay 088 Brand Lead, are to:

• As Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach, provide leadership in setting and executing priorities and developing our talent and culture for colleagues working on VITRAKVI and BAY-088 and across the US Pharma Portfolio Squad;

• Develop effective marketing strategies, programs, and tactics through well-supported market, customer, and competitive insights;

• Develop financial forecasts and ensure responsible use of resources to deliver on key priorities;

• Prioritize business opportunities and utilize prioritize high return marketing levers to deliver strong performance in the most efficient way;

• Work as part of the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to align strategies/priorities and shape the future for this brand and therapeutic area;

• Collaborate with our US Pharma Customer Squads to ensure strong execution and aligned Outcomes;

• Build relationships with national and regional KOLs, collaborating appropriately with Medical;

• Co-create aligned priorities and resourcing with leaders across the full US Pharma portfolio within the P&P Portfolio Squad;

• Create a culture that embraces and maximizes the impact of DSO;

• Set ambitious goals and take ownership accountability for the VITRAKVI and BAY-088 P&Ls;

• Contribute to developing our Bayer talent across the P&P Community.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree;

• Experience in the Healthcare field required;

• Strong experience in leading teams toward strategic decisions including the development and implementation of brand plans;

• Demonstrated ability to be a high level contributor or leader of multiple projects, processes or functions;

• Demonstrated ability to present complex issues to higher level management and contribute to high level presentations and discussions;

• Willingness to travel (30% to 40%);

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or advanced degree;
• 10+ years of experience in Healthcare field;
• 4+ years in Oncology.
