At Sunrise, our Executive Director will be responsible for providing comprehensive leadership for a premier senior living community in goal setting, operational management, and long-term growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:
- Ensure positive engagement of residents, family, friends, and team members by maintaining a positive, open-door atmosphere- Demonstrate effective communication, lead by example, ensure outstanding attention to detail in resident' care and wellbeing- Set standards for quality assurance and foster positive family relationships- Have direct responsibility for hiring, training, and supervising a top-notch team- Have direct responsibility for the financial management and regulatory compliance of the community- Lead the Sales and Marketing process, in order to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue targets

Qualifications:
- Passion for working with Seniors- College degree and administrator's license/certification per state requirements- Prior General Manager, Executive Director or Administrator experience within the health care industry preferred- Previous management experience with direct supervision of a team of at least 10 -- including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, and disciplinary measures as necessary- Demonstrated success in managing operating expenses of at least $1M annually- Previous sales or business development experience preferred--identifying and building local relationships to drive business as well as effective product pricing and revenue maximization- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to facilitate small-group presentations- Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities- Schedule flexibility to work one weekend day a week (usually a Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday schedule) , evenings as necessary and serving on-call- Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite as well as the ability to learn new applications

In this role, the Director of Marketing will lead the development of a consumer and channel focused, global marketing organization while partnering with the Pool Business Unit Leader to drive growth and position Pentair as the brand leader in pool solutions. Specifically, this role will build a marketing discipline and high performance team, develop and deliver growth strategies and implement sustainable, standard practices around marketing and channel strategies. We will: * Provide opportunities to collaborate across functions and engage with Pentair's senior leadership team * Provide an innovative environment where leadership is encouraged to drive innovative change within the product technology space * Opportunities for leaders and their teams to solve the worlds water issues and shape the future of the water industry * Create career growth and cross functional opportunities within various areas of the organization * Offer health benefits & coaching, employee discounts, and support your long term retirement goals through a competitive 401K matching and stock purchase plan You will: * Perform the following duties in alignment with enterprise wide commercial excellence processes and procedures to develop a growth engine for the BU. * Act as the lead marketer of the Pool BU addressing all aspects of marketing and in alignment with Enterprise marketing strategies. * Build consumer-driven growth strategies with BU leadership team based upon customer needs, market and competitive trends. * Leverage digital marketing tools and tactics to drive lead generation and conversion. * Build channel (B2B2C) marketing strategies to create demand / pull across the channels * Implement a cohesive marketing strategy across the BU and build a world-class marketing team to support growth priorities. * Contribute to the effective development of new products with the Product Management, Engineering and Sales Leadership teams to address customer needs, develop differentiated offerings and drive profitable growth. * Support brand building through the support of BU-specific and enterprise-wide brand strategies. * Partner with Sales function and enable Sales success through effective marketing, communications and programs * Develop compelling customer-centric content to support social media, trade shows, collateral, pricing, new channel programs, etc. * Implement new product launch strategies and processes to accelerate commercial results * Deliver market, competitive and end user insights to support market-back decision making. * Develop and validate optimum BU go to market strategies to ensure customer expectations are met including direct, indirect and e-commerce channels. * Share best practices in channel, vertical market, and demand marketing across the enterprise. * Serve as a key participant in implementing the link between BU strategic marketing and the overall enterprise approach. * Strategically manage budget to allocate marketing funds efficiently align resources to fund and accelerate growth priorities * In concert with other senior leaders, act as a catalyst for the change necessary to realize the growth objectives of the company. You should: * Have a Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) in Business or equivalent in Marketing. MBA or master's level education preferred. * Have 10+ years of professional experience in B2C Marketing management with proven success in driving revenue growth. * Have experience within a global manufacturing organization, including exposure to R&D/Engineering, Sales/Marketing, and Operations/Manufacturing. * Have experience with two-step channel distribution is a bonus. * Have leadership experience in marketing management with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management, sales and business development, along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance. * Have outstanding analytical skills required, a high degree of intellectual curiosity, and the ability to engage with other senior leaders in addressing complex business issues. * Be highly knowledgeable in web/digital marketing best practices. * Have a strong B2C background - experience in customer-driven marketing and demand generation * Be knowledgeable of market research, strategic marketing and brand communications. * Demonstrate business acumen. * Demonstrate knowledge of and experience with trade shows, advertising media (print & online), PR, web content, social media, collateral materials.
