Executive Director - FX Options Emerging Markets Trading

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director to join our FX Options Emerging Markets Trading team. This position would involve working with a team across Asia, EMEA, and the Americas. We are looking to become a market leading business being a liquidity provider across the globe to all of our Corp, Comm, and Institutional Clients.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the Emerging Markets (EM) FX options trading initiative in NY which encompasses trading, sales relationships, and client pricing.

• Perform daily risk management duties for all aspects of the EM portfolio. Capable of running multiple books across the Latam and Asian regions

• Exhibit strong analytical and quantitative skills. Be able to work well under pressure and be part of a global team

• Work with the global team to dictate consistent, efficient, and timely pricing for all our clients

• Be able to build a franchise by fostering current customer relationships and onboarding new prospects.

• Help build analytical tools that improve our risk management capabilities and customer engagement.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Securities Trading experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 6+ years of emerging marketings (EM) trading experience in both vanillas and exotics

• Strong sense of urgency and commitment as well as a strong business sense with a strategic and tactical orientation.

• Consistent track record of strong PnL trading FX options

• In depth understanding of technological, risk and regulatory trends impacting FX business

• Technical expertise in regulatory, compliance, and risk management issues.

• Ability to analyze data and use for decision-making and managing initiatives.

• Successful track record in systematically executing initiatives using project management disciplines.

• Highest level of integrity and good judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Strong stakeholder skills and ability to work and lead across functions.

• Strong commercial judgement, excellent communication and influencing skills.

• Comfortable working in a matrix organizational environment and partnership skills.

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field

Job Expectations:

• up to 10% travel

This position is subject to Dodd-Frank Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background screen. Pay Range

$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
