Executive Director of Marketing Systems and Performance - IWU National & Global

Position Summary:

The Executive Director of Marketing Systems and Performance is responsible for managing the teams which provide both the technology-related service and innovation for the National and Global (N&G) Marketing unit, along with the paid advertising strategies (digital and traditional). This leadership role provides oversight and direction for the martech stack, N&G web properties, digital reporting and analytical tools, the digital and traditional advertising strategy, search engine optimization and the management of outsourced tools utilized to improve the customer experience and monitor advertising effectiveness.

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to the VP of Marketing.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required

Master's degree preferred, preferably in a related discipline

Over 5 years of significant leadership experience, with previous higher education experience preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior leadership to accomplish key goals and initiatives

  • Lead direct report(s) to create and manage a high-performance team

  • Oversee onboarding for any new technology and software utilized by Marketing

  • Oversee major website development and redesign initiatives, as well as content updates and regular maintenance.

  • Oversee the Search Engine Optimization efforts for N&G web pages

  • Oversee the creation and management of dashboards and tools utilized by N&G to provide data and analysis for use in marketing decision-making

  • Oversee digital advertising efforts including but not limited to paid search, affiliate lead vendors, display advertising, social paid marketing and other forms of digital advertising in close consultation with the Vice President for Marketing and the Executive Director of Communication and Design.

  • Oversee traditional advertising efforts including but not limited to TV/OTT, radio, email marketing, print, and other forms of traditional advertising in close consultation with the Vice President for Marketing and the Executive Director of Communication and Design.

  • Ensure brand integrity and compliance with regulatory governance for all digital marketing and enrollment initiatives, including websites and any web or digital form

  • Optimize the N&G customer experience to maximize competitive advantage

  • Develop and nurture partner/vendor relationships to enhance the quality of services offered by Marketing

  • Serve as primary liaison with University IT on behalf of Marketing

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Position Requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Experience managing and leading a successful team of direct reports

  • Experience with web site development and web content management systems

  • Ability to utilize digital analytics tools (ex: Google Analytics, etc.)

  • Ability to execute keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization, with particular focus to content

  • Ability to travel as required to meet with vendors, service providers and to represent IWU at designated conferences, meetings and events

  • Skilled communicator with excellent verbal, written, presentation skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skill

Reporting Relationships: This position reports to the Dean of Students. It does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, but does indirectly supervise Resident Directors pertaining to the execution of the student conduct process. Education Requirements: Master's degree required, terminal degree preferred. Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for ongoing implementation, assessment, evaluation, and development of comprehensive student conduct system and processes. * Perform student conduct and Title IX meetings, compile and evaluate evidence, maintain documentation, make determinations of findings, assign and monitor educational sanctions, and communicate with individuals accordingly. * Serve as student conduct trainer for Residence Life and Campus Police and maintain working relationships with a variety of individuals and offices. * Provide and/or assist with education and programming for Title IX and substance use. * Train an appeals board comprised of faculty, staff, and students. * Conduct review of applicants with criminal history or conduct history at prior institutions.
