JOB SUMMARY

The Executive Director of Finance is responsible for the strategic financial leadership of the organization. This role involves overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of financial management principles. Provides leadership and direction necessary to maintain the accounting, reporting and control functions of BMC consolidated operations and financial position and select affiliates. Responsibilities include supervision over general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, accounts payable, payroll, treasury management, property accounting, IRS and State information reporting and the monitoring of investments to ensure safety and security of assets in accordance with the Board directives. Supervise staff of five associates including Director of Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accountants.

Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:Bachelor of Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting. Master of Business Administration preferred.

Licensure: Certified Public Accountant certificate preferred

Experience: Five or more years of experience in the healthcare finance industry or public accounting preferred.

Skills: Must have strong analytical and organizational skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with Department Directors, Vice Presidents and senior management.

Typical office environment subject to frequent interruptions and heavy work volume with certain deadline requirements; subject to overtime, and weekend and irregular hours.

Intensive mental effort required to meet deadlines, perform analysis, etc.
