Consider applying with us today Department Information Office Of Admissions Job Summary Reporting to the Chief Student Experience Officer (CSXO), the Executive Director of Admissions is a key leader within the Division of Enrollment Management. This role oversees the Recruitment, Admissions Operations, and Enrollment Services Center teams to ensure a seamless, student-centered admissions process that supports institutional goals and enhances the enrollment experience. The Executive Director fosters collaboration across departments to optimize recruitment, processing, and communication strategies, contributing to the University's commitment to student success.
Responsibilities Significant Duties & Responsibilities include: Leadership and Oversight: Supervise the Recruitment Team, responsible for generating leads, collecting applications, and assisting prospective students through their journey to the first day of class., Manage the Admissions Operations Team, charged with processing and evaluating applicant documents, making admission decisions, and communicating outcomes to applicants and departments., Oversee the Enrollment Services Center Team, ensuring efficient support for prospective and current students regarding admissions, financial services, and inquiries about the University through various communication channels.; Strategic Collaboration:
Work closely with the CSXO, Division of Enrollment Management, and campus-wide stakeholders to deliver a streamlined and exceptional enrollment experience.; Admissions Administration: Implement admissions requirements established by the University faculty and Board of Regents, maintaining compliance and integrity throughout all processes., Ensure the campus community is informed of Board of Regents policies and procedures related to admissions., Provide leadership at recruitment functions and contribute admissions data for marketing and strategic planning efforts.; Data Integrity and Reporting: Partner with University Information Technology Services (UITS) to maintain the integrity of admissions databases and oversee the generation of critical reports for institutional decision-making.; Budget and Resource Management:
Work with the CSXO or designee to manage the department's budget, prioritize resources, and support operational needs.; Training and Development: Lead ongoing training for all Admissions Department personnel to foster professional growth and ensure exceptional service delivery.; Operational Excellence: Evaluate and refine processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness, maintaining a sustainable culture of continuous improvement.; Institutional Representation:
Represent the University on internal and external committees, ensuring alignment with institutional and University System of Georgia policies. Required Qualifications Required Qualifications include: Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution.; At least five years of progressively responsible leadership in admissions within a competitive higher education environment.; Demonstrated success in managing multi-functional teams critical to enrollment success.; Comprehensive knowledge of recruitment and admissions policies, best practices, and strategies.; Strong commitment to personal and team professional development.; The Executive Director of Admissions is instrumental in shaping the student experience from recruitment through enrollment.
This role ensures that every interaction with prospective and current students reflects the University's dedication to excellence, collaboration, and student success. Proposed Salary The proposed annualized salary range for this position is $99,210 - $110,112 and includes full benefits. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities include:

A credit check completed for Positions of Trust and or approved departmental Purchase Card usage; Pre-employment drug testing for positions with high-risk responsibilities. Motor vehicle reports are required for positions that are required to drive a Columbus State University fleet vehicle or other vehicle designated as a fleet vehicle.
