Reporting directly to the Co-Chairs of the Chemistry and Chemical Biology Department (CCB), with a dotted line to the Administrative Dean for Science, the Executive Director leads the Department in the development and implementation of best practices in all departmental operations and is responsible for all department functions, including: budget and business operations, human resources, education, faculty and academic affairs, research policy and compliance, sponsored research administration, research operations, instrumentation service centers, laboratory safety, and IT/computers. Analyzes and synthesizes information and produces reports and recommendations for the Co-Chairs and other University leaders. Contributes to committees and working groups at School and University level as needed.
