We are a faith-based nonprofit organization looking for a vision setting, passionate Executive Director to join our family.

Our organization is more than a children's home, orphanage or group home. We are a team of passionate individuals who are dedicated to bettering the lives of less fortunate children. Our mission is to offer hope in a brand new way and environment; to give grace abundantly; and to love unconditionally. As an Executive Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of all programs, policies and procedures, as well as serving as the primary point of contact with public and private agencies, media, foundations, businesses, civic clubs, and religious organizations. The Executive Director will also work closely with the Board of Directors, Executive and Development committees of the Board, and development and marketing staff to oversee a comprehensive, growth oriented fund raising plan.

  • Efficient organizational system and ability to multitask

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Computer proficiency for research, communication, reports, etc.

  • Willing to seek counsel in the decision-making process

  • Self-motivated and a motivator of others

Other Requirements

  • A Bachelors degree in a relevant area of study such as Social Work, Child Psychology, Sociology, Family Therapy, Education, Social Sciences, Childhood Education, Finance, Business, Marketing, Communications, Non-profit Management, Public Administration, or a related field.

  • Five years of relevant business experience in the area of Finance, Sales and Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Non-profit Management/Development, Education, Child Care or Social Work, two of which involve supervisory experience.

  • A clean background and drug check as well as excellent spiritual, personal, and professional references.

  • Must be willing to work on the organization's property and maintain an office at both locations.

  • Must be able to travel extensively in the Northeast Florida area and periodically, throughout the state and nation. Valid Florida driver's license, daily access to a car and personal vehicle insurance coverage is required.

  • Must be able to work some evenings and weekends as required for the successful promotion of the organization and will be required to participate in outdoor events.

As Executive Director I, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. Recruit, hire, and provide orientation/training for a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out facility programs and services Maintain and guide the implementation of facility policies and procedures in compliance with corporate, state, federal, and other regulatory guidelines. Prepare and submit reports on facility operation, as required. Requirements for this dynamic opportunity include a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Executive Director's (Administrator) license of this State. Must possess proven leadership ability with at least three (3) years as an administrator in either a long-term or subacute care facility. Must possess demonstrated skills related to management, planning, budgeting, marketing and quality improvement.
