Job Description:

SUPPLY CHAIN FINANCE

  • Lead category/franchise reporting and analysis

  • Dotted-line oversight of the brand's strategic gross margin management

  • Value Engineering Management

  • Identify opportunities and associated actions in the areas of excess and obsolescence

  • Oversee the "War on Waste" as it pertains to samples and collateral

  • Participate in the SIOP and demand planning process for the base business and innovation

  • Support the delivery of the DOS/DTS metrics and contribute to working capital efforts

INNOVATION FINANCE

  • Partner with global product marketing to support the development of financial metrics associated with new products

  • Direct innovation pricing efforts

  • Perform revenue projections based on internal and external benchmarks

  • Partner on COGS development with the relevant Center of Excellence

  • Own full campaign P&Ls, including A&P guidelines

  • Perform post-mortum analyses on innovation launches

EXPENSE MANAGEMENT

  • Lead the management of efficiency and effectiveness of advertising and promotion spend, including optimization of spend, shift between regions, allocation between digital & traditional, allocation between working and non-working dollars

  • Support the analysis and optimization of marketing, creative and consumer engagement investments across programs

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting; MBA a plus

  • 10 years financial experience in beauty and/or consumer goods

  • Organized self-starter and detail-oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

  • Team player with ability to interface with many departments

  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suites (Excel and PowerPoint)

CUNY seeks an experienced, innovative, and strategic leader to serve as University Executive Director of Financial Aid Management. Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Strategy and Management, the University Executive Director will oversee all aspects of a comprehensive financial aid program that awards more than one billion dollars of financial aid to over 200,000 students annually. He/She will work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders, including the U.S. Department of Education, the Higher Education Services Corporation and 24 campus financial aid offices, to ensure the effective administration of student financial aid programs delivered with best in class service to students, families, and other constituents. The University Executive Director of Financial Aid Management will develop short and long-term goals, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and monitor all financial aid operations. As a senior leader within the Office of Enrollment Strategy and Management, the University Executive Director of Financial Aid Management will work to support the University's core mission to recruit, retain, and graduate talented and diverse students by leveraging and managing effective financial aid and scholarship programs. He or she will actively engage in strategic enrollment management planning and execution. The University Executive Director of Financial Aid Management administers the following critical work streams through the Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA) leadership team: Financial Aid Packaging; Reporting; Compliance; Campus Support/Troubleshooting; Publications and Training (information dissemination); Internal and External Liaison Activities; Jobs Program Management; and General Administration. Principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Interpret and implement strategic, long-range planning and policies for University-wide financial aid matters in partnership with appropriate Federal, New York State and City, and University guidelines. * Interpret new governing laws and regulations; modify and develop policy and procedures to ensure compliance. * Responsible for preventing or reducing monetary disallowances by funding agencies due to non-compliance with governing regulations in the administration of financial aid programs. * Report on general and fiscal matters such as program expenditures, project full-year spending potential and analyze spending patterns. * Conduct informal internal reviews of financial aid operations at the colleges, and assist college financial aid offices with operations process flow, design and service requirements. * Responsible for responding to proposed legislation and keeping the financial aid community informed of upcoming changes. * Serve as OSFA liaison to Councils of Business Managers, loan coordinators, system Registrars, Bursars, and Vice Presidents for Enrollment Management and R2T4 Coordinators. * Oversee the professional development and performance assessment of financial aid staff members. * Performs related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree and eight years' relevant experience in administering and leading Financial Aid Operations required. * Advanced proficiency using database management as it relates to financial aid (PeopleSoft Campus Solutions) preferred. * Experience in Federal, State, and City financial aid programs, policies and procedures. * Experience with the application of rules, regulations, laws, and programs related to financial aid programs. * Demonstrated experience leading and directing financial aid or a related compliance function in a higher education institution. * Substantial experience supervising staff and motivating team members. * Detail oriented and accurate with sound critical analysis and decision-making skills. * Ability to prepare technical and analytical reports and executive summaries. * Strong project management skills to establish work plans, set deadlines, manage conflicting priorities and ambiguous situations, and lead teams to successful project completion. * Strong work ethic and personal integrity to work with the utmost professionalism, confidentiality and tact . * Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including strong negotiation, group facilitation, and consensus building skills to collaborate with and influence others, navigate complex agency frameworks, and work effectively with diverse internal and external constituencies of various organizational levels. * Strong work ethic, professionalism, and discretion; ability to prioritize, manage and fulfill multiple responsibilities in a time-sensitive manner. * Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, with ability to lead and manage teams, and use strategic and tactical judgment to make decisions and handle various situations.
